Glacier Bay National Park is located in Southeast Alaska, approximately 60 air miles west of the state capital of Juneau.

best viewing of humpback whales -one of the bigger draws for visitors to
Gustavus/Glacier Bay Area.

We offer guided and unguided kayak excursions , kayak rentals as well as boat drop off and boat viewing tours. Daily trips and packages of multiple day adventures are available.

Glacier Bay Tour
There is one daily tour boat that departs from Bartlett Cove during the summer months.
On the Glacier Bay Tour you will spend the day on the waters of Glacier Bay and see magnificent tidewater glaciers, ancient snow-capped mountains, stellar sea lions, rare birds, coastal bears, seals, eagles, and so much more! Come join us and observe how the dynamic world of the bay changes continuously as receding glaciers reveal new landscapes.
Each morning through the summer, a tour boat leaves Bartlett Cove and travels 130 miles through Glacier Bay. For seven hours it will take passengers on a journey through a landscape rich with wildlife, full of human stories and still maturing from recent rebirth. Visitors explore a waterway that was under a river of ice only 250 years ago. A National Park Ranger will be on-board to help spot wildlife, provide commentary and programs to help passengers understand and appreciate Glacier Bay National Park. Be sure to have binoculars ready and rain gear handy so you can be outside to greet each new discovery!
•The tour boat departs from the dock at Glacier Bay Lodge on Bartlett Cove.
•Passengers board at 7:00 AM, depart at 7:30 AM, and return around 3:30 PM daily.
•Camper and kayak drop-off service is also available
•This 8-hour tour is narrated by a National Park Service Ranger, who is available to answer all your questions.
